Dan’s Backyard BBQ has been a Hunterdon County Staple for many years. You might be one of our frequent visitors at the Hunterdon County 4H Fair! Dans Backyard BBQ started at the Burjan’s Pumpkin Patch which was our family farm in Readington.

We are a Mobile BBQ Catering company that is now changing our Model due to this unique time! The Little family/Jakes Restaurant is allowing us to use their facility for pick-up. We will start with Thursday, Friday and Saturdays for now. Please Pre-Order your selections, specify date and time of pickup in the comment section and we will have it ready for you when you arrive. You can also purchase our Sauces and Seasonings that are currently in Shoprite. Thanks for your support!

DANS BACKYARD BBQ NOW OFFERING GRAB N GO BBQ! Preorder your BBQ online. Pickup will be Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sundays from 4:00-6:30pm. Delivery is available but limited to 10 mile radius.

Q when are you open?

Q When can I place my Pre-Order?

Ordering is open now. Please give us 2 day lead time.
**Please indicate in the comment section what day you would like to pick up your order and time!

Q Can I add to my package?

Our packages include 1 Meat, 2 sides, rolls, pickles and a bottle of our BBQ Sauce. You can add A La Carte pound containers of any meat, side, or bread. Indicate in the comment section which sides you want, sweet and tangy or sweet and spicy BBQ Sauce.

We have tried everything on Dan’s menu and love it all. Our favorite is always the brisket ! I have enjoyed Dan’s food for years at the Hunterdon County 4H Fair and now loving it for takeout from Jake’s in Flemington. Had the chicken wings tonight and they were outstanding ! Order online or you can call Carol directly at (908) 507-2479 to order. You won’t be disappointed ! Best BBQ in the area!

Great barbecue. So glad Jake’s let Dan use there facilities. I love the roast beef and all of Dan’s barbecue so glad I don’t have to wait for the Flemington Fair to get it now, Thank you
